We took two world class funk drummers, set them up in a Victorian Warehouse building and held down the record button until they had no more funk to give. We then took those recordings, mixed down the drums to analog tape, sampled the master and began a long process of torturing those samples to sound like highly distressed vinyl recordings complete with pops, clicks and full-on fried chicken.
The result is a collection of expertly mangled drum breaks that capture the undeniable energy of a live funk drummer with the vintage tone that only well worn vinyl can deliver. WARNING, these drum loops are seriously distressed, if you don't like that crusty old vinyl sound this is the wrong collection for you. Baddass Breakbeats V2 weighs in at 161 Mb and contains 123 drum loops. Have a listen to the preview above to hear how we quickly put together a couple of drum tracks for some commercial projects. Please note this product contains only drum loops, the other sounds that you hear in the demo are purely for demonstration purposes.
Each loop comes in three different file formats of WAVE, Apple Loops and Rex2. That's 123 drum loops multiplied by three formats to give you a total of 369 audio files.
