all of our loops in the popular Garageband
Loops formats known as "Apple
Loops". When you purchase
any of our Drum Loop packs you get to download
a ZIP file which contains your drum loops
in these formats:
- AIF
- Apple Loop format for Garageband and Logic
on Mac OSX.
- WAV
- (Acidized). The industry standard for
years. Almost All audio applications can
handle WAV.
- REX2
- For use in Reason, Cubase, Sonor and many
more DAW applications.
We had so many users asking
for us to supply Garageband
Loops in the Apple
Loops format that we simply had
to listen. After some intense weeks of locating
hit points and specifying meta data for the
Garageband Loops in our library we finally
completed the conversion and are now proud
to offer this new format.

marks the launch of Silicon
Beats and we've kick started
the launch with a totally new Reggae
Drum Loop download pack entitled "Jammin
Volume 1".
This
new pack consists of 129 reggae drum
loops which were expertly recorded during
some extremely hot recording sessions
in the Yorkshire countryside earlier
this summer. With a superb combination
of AKG, Shure and Neumann microphones
we managed to capture the crisp tone
of this beautiful all maple Pearl Masters
drum kit. |
We spent a great deal
of time tweaking the sound of this kit in order
to capture some of the tonal qualities found
in legendary Bob Marley recordings so we hope
you are as thrilled with the results as we are.

Silicon
Beats is born. Silicon Beats originally started
life as "Breakbeats Only" way back
in 2002. At that time we mainly offered what
the title suggests (only breakbeats) but over
the years our library of drum loops has grown
in size and variety in order to satisfy the
demands of our customers.
In early
2005 we decided it was time to re-brand using
a more appropriate name and "Silicon
Beats" was born. After more than a year
of development we finally launched "Silicon
Beats" in July of 2006 which now offers
the best of the "Breakbeats Only"
back catalog as well as lots of new material.
We also
decided to offer our products in a more specific
way as apposed to offering a membership based
product that some users might not have time
to make the most of. By offering individual
download packs of drum loops categorized by
genre we believe that customers will be more
likely to get exactly what they want. With
a massive selection of free demo drum loops
available for each available download pack,
we are sure that the "try before you
buy" approach will be more to your liking.
